Sending Wallet passes
The module to send passes is the easiest way to deliver Wallet passes created with gifttowallet to you customers. By adding an additional field to your template that contains either the phone number or the email address of a customer you can create jobs that use this data to send the link to the pass to your customer.
In order to deliver Emails you first need to create an Email template and use this template together with a sendout job. SMS don’t use templates since the text is usually a lot shorter.
In a nutshell this is what the process looks like:
- Create passes and make sure to add an additional property that includes either the email address or phone number of your customer in your template
- If you want to send emails: create an email template
- Create a sendout job that actually delivers the emails or SMS to your customers
